Prison Of Blues are a psychobilly band hailing from a small tobacco-producing town called Temanggung in Central Java, Indonesia. Formed in 2007, the band initially comprised Bowo, Dharu, Baskoro, and Antok. As part of the punk scene in Temanggung, the quartet started out by performing punk-rock songs by The Clash, Social Distortion, and Ramones. Born out of the want to bring something different to the proceedings, they began to introduce elements of psychobilly by switching to double bass and referencing acts such as Mad Sin, Rezurex, The Meteors, and many others.

In 2009, they released their debut single “Who Killed Your Friend?”, followed by second single “Jealousy”, which was included in the “Sound Of Tobacco 2” compilation album in 2011. In 2012, Prison Of Blues released their first EP “Trick Or Threat”. The band appeared in a compilation album released by German magazine Dynamite Magazine in May 2013. At the end of 2013, contrabassist Baskoro left and was replaced by Aldino. In 2016, debut album “Graveyard Party” was unleashed to the masses. They performed at psychobilly festival Bedlam Breakout in Northampton, England, in 2016 and toured Europe in 2017 and 2018. Latest single “Selamat Datang Kehancuran” was released in April 2022.
