SERIAN
Pop-ballad band Serian were formed in 2010 in Jakarta and was initiated by one Utsman Firmansyah, who is better known as Kumiz. The band’s name was inspired by the betta fish, hoping that they can give a new colour to the Indonesian music industry.
Consisting of Kumiz on vocals, Dennie on guitar, and former Sheila On 7 drummer Anton on drums, Serian released their debut single “Tuhan Tolong Tumbuhkan Nyaliku” in March 2018. Second single “Mengelus Dada” came out in October 2018. In July 2019, the band collaborated with Sandhy Sondoro on the single “Masih Ada Lady”, followed by their debut album “Jangan Bilang-Bilang” in 2020. Their lyrics cover a wide range of themes, including love, sadness, happiness, and life in general.
Having performed at various events, ranging from music festivals and Independence Day celebrations to charity concerts and TV shows, Serian presents a different story for the lives of their listeners. They will keep on creating good music and maintain the same gusto for both the local and international music industry.
